Good artwork makes great swag. This page covers which files print best, which ones need a little work, and what to do if you're not sure what you have.

Files that need to be recreated
A vector file with an .ai, .eps, or .pdf extension, created in a program like Adobe Illustrator, with all text converted to outlines. Vector art scales to any size without losing quality, which is essential for printing and embroidery. If you have this, you're ready to go.
Vector art is built from mathematical paths, so it stays crisp at any size. Raster images (like .jpg and .png) are built from pixels, so they get blurry and jagged when enlarged. A logo that looks fine on your website can fall apart when it's printed on a tote bag or stitched onto a cap.
Image files such as .jpg, .png, and .gif are great for use online, but they usually aren't suitable for quality print production. Depending on the resolution and the product, we can sometimes still work with them, so send what you have and we'll let you know.
Files created in programs like PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Publisher, or Paint will need to be recreated as vector art before production. If that's what you've got, don't worry. We'll review it for free and quote any recreation work upfront.
These are the issues we see most often, and how to avoid them:
Most branded products are printed using PMS (Pantone Matching System) colors. If your brand has official PMS colors, include them with your artwork and we'll match them as closely as the product and print method allow. Not sure what your PMS colors are? Check our PMS Color Chart, or send us your artwork and we'll help you identify them.
Our custom rainbow suncatcher stickers are printed on holographic film and have their own artwork specs, which differ from the guidelines on this page. You'll find them in the artwork section of the suncatcher page, or just ask and we'll walk you through it.
Send it anyway. We review all artwork at no charge and give you honest feedback. If your file is ready to go, we'll tell you the next steps. If it needs edits, we'll do our best to handle small fixes at no charge, and for bigger jobs we'll give you an upfront design estimate before any work begins. No surprises.
